About Middleton
A small village a mile away from Youlgreave. It has historical connections with the English Civil War, as it was the seat of the Fulwood family whose manor house is now just a mound and some old walls. Close by is the ancient burial ground of Arbor Low stone circle.
Well Dressings take place in May/June.
