Carsington is a beautiful area, close to Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Matlock, Bakewell, and Ashbourne all of which provide wonderful facilities for all ages. Or perhaps take a short walk to the Carsington Trail and visitor centre with cycle hire.

All of The Stables self-catering accommodation is on ground level, making it perfect for extended family or friends.

The stylish kitchen in The Stables is equipped to a very high standard, with a large range cooker, bottle cooler, microwave & fridge-freezer, all complimented by polished granite work surfaces.

The kitchen flows into the dining and living space with a large wall-mounted TV and DVD player. The living area has huge comfy sofas, long solid oak tables and leather chairs, offering a relaxing space for everyone.

Guests can enjoy the private hot tub and a shared swimming pool for the warmer months (April-Oct). Shiningford is dog friendly, with a private enclosed garden for your furry friends to enjoy.

The Stables is available to hire privately, or together with Shiningford Manor and The Tack Room, if you have a larger group. When booked on an exclusive basis, Shiningford provides a large private venue for up to 35 guests.
