Book now to experience the best of Derbyshire's stunning countryside and charming small town charm!After a day exploring the town and surrounding area's many attractions, such as the historic Opera House, Pavilion Gardens, market town of Bakewell, Monsal Trail, or a walk to Solamons temple. Unwind in our cozy living room, cook a meal in the kitchen, take a short walk to one of the many local restaurants, or order from one of the nearby takeaways.
Newly refurbished with room for 4 guests laid out over two floors.
Upstairs you will find one double and one twin bedroom. The family shower room with shower, toilet, and sink are also situated on this floor.
Downstairs the well equipt kitchen with dining table for 4 and door to outside yard area. The sitting room has a relaxing armchair, 3 seater sofa and smart TV.
All bedding and bath towels are provided.
A children's travel cot and highchair are available on request. Please provide your own bedding for this.
Situated in the Spa Town of Buxton, known as the gateway to the Peak District, you will be a short walk from Buxton's town centre with Buxton Opera House, the tranquil Pavilion Gardens, and the magnificent Devonshire Dome.
There are many great independent cafes, restaurants and retailers in the town.
One thing Buxton is famous for is the stunning architecture of some of its buildings why not visit the Devonshire Dome and the Buxton Crescent to see for yourself.
If you are looking for entertainment why not catch one of the many shows at the Opera House, watch a film at the local cinema or perhaps a live band at one of the bars.
During the day why not try something different like Go Ape! Explore the nearby Peak District National Park and Derbyshire Dales, where there is lots to see and do.
Perhaps you fancy a walk along the Monsal Trail, up Mam Tor or kinder scout, over Dovedale stepping stones or underground at the nearby Pooles Cavern or Treck Cliff Cavern.
We aren't far from Alton Towers theme park and historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Thornbridge Hall.
Buxton benefits from great public transport links, with many buses and a train station. Local taxis are available.
Parking is on-street, the spaces directly outside the house are limited to 40mins between 9-5 but the parking over the other side is free all day/night, there is also a pay and display carpark at the top of the road (120 yards away) which is £3.90 for the paid period of parking and free from 6pm - 8am. You are also able to purchase weekly parking permits valid for this and other carparks in the high peak (Castleton, Edale, Whaley Bridge, Chapel en le Frith and Glossop are a few) it is £20 for the 7-day Pass and £10 for the 3-day Rover Pass.
