Tucked away above the River side hamlet of Milldale, close to picturesque Dovedale valley, New Hanson Grange is a perfect base to explore the Peak District.

Two delightful shepherds huts nestled on the edge of a small woodland, providing a calming setting amongst nature. Named "Fern" & "Lily" ( our pet friendly shepherd hut) after sheep dogs.
Tariffs £50 -£85 per night reductions for 3 nights or more.
Alternatively, we also provide a cosy self- catering farm Bungalow Sleeping up to 4 persons Tariffs £300-£580 per week ( see website for more details)

The shepherd huts full of rustic charm with there stable doors, today, offer a romantic getaway an all seasons retreat, to relax, unwind and escape the bustle of everyday life. Ideally suited to couples or the solo traveller.

Each hut sleeping up to 2 persons is beautifully presented & ecologically friendly with no electricity.
Complete with wood burning stoves to make them warm and inviting all year round. Built in double beds with pretty linens & comfy mattresses ensuring a good nights sleep. Battery operated lights create an ambient atmosphere. A camping gas stove for cooking simple meals. All basic pots, pans & crockery provided.

If you don't want to do all the cooking an optional breakfast hamper can be delivered right to your door to set you up for a days walking.
There is an out door seating to sit round the fire pit an star gaze under starry skies.

The toilet & showers in the Old Dairy are just a short stroll 20metres from the huts through the apple orchard.( in here is a power point for charging your phones & a shared fridge)

We are ideally situated for walkers & cyclists with walks from the doorstep, Tissington Trail & Manifold trails, Dovedale & Berresford dale all close by.
The market towns & spa towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Buxton & Matlock & Leek are all in a 15 mile radius.
There are plenty of excellent tourist attractions all within easy distance - Matlock Bath, Heights of Abraham, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Alton Towers, Pooles Cavern, Treak Cliff Cavern, Speedwell Cavern to name but a few.
